Jessie is the only female member of Team Rocket. She's manipulative and power-hungry and is often seen yelling at James and Meowth.

During a flashback in the Christmas episode, she's portrayed as a sweet and innocent little girl who was waiting in her bed for Santa Claus. However, when Santa came, he took one of her dolls away! Of course, that wasn't the real Santa Claus, it was a Pokemon named Jynx that took it. But little Jessie was so scarred by the incident that she turned to the side of evil and joined a bicycle gang and later joined Team Rocket. Jynx later returned the doll it stole from her.
